Micromax Indian mobile maker has launched its first tablet in Indian market named Funbook Tab runs on latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Micromax Funbook Tab is powered by 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor and for games and high resolution videos it also has Dual Mali-400 2D/3D GPU. Micromax Funbook Tab is packed in 7-inch capacitive touch screen which has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and comes with multi-touch, Pinch to zoom features. Miromax Funbook at a stunningly low price
Introduction of iPad has made the field clear
for many players to jump into the new lucrative market of tablets.
Almost all the companies, whether related to computer or mobile, are
launching their Tablets at diverse price points. And now, the crowded
market is going for a price war. Micromax is one such company which has
entered the market with its new Tablet, Micromax Funbook, with a
stunningly affordable price to make a place for itself in the
overcrowded market. The low-priced tablet boasts of the latest IceCream
sandwich operating system, so it is quite possible there may be some
compromises done with the device. So, let us check whether the offer is
really lucrative or not!
Plastic Body Packed with Features
As we have already got the idea that Funbook is
priced at a budget point, therefore, expecting a metal body is
stupidity! But, the quality of plastic used is really good. Moreover, it
comprises a catchy appearance and looks like a BlackBerry PlayBook, and
is housed with 3 keys in the front for Menu, Home and Back, placed
under the display. To make you happy, the 7-inch sleek capacitive touch
screen comes packed in a slim body that is available in both white and
black color, with a Funbook logo on it. The bottom side is given space
for a microSD slot, HDMI slot, reset button, power charging button and a
mini-USB. And the right houses a volume rocker and a power button. For
enhanced viewing the display comes with a resolution of 480*800 pixels,
and is provided with enough brightness that enables you to comfortably
view the screen in sunlight.

Funbook is loaded with lots of goodies and the
list starts from its latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich version on which
it runs. Moreover, for running this device on this OS, it is powered by a

of this tablet is that there are only small niggles which can be easily
